Hitch adapters are used for various reasons when hitching up a trailer. The hitch adapter can help fit a ball mount shank regardless of what size it is. It is designed with optimum strength and manufactured to fit perfectly into their application.

Trailer hitch adapters can accommodate both shanks and receiver tube openings of 1 ¼ inches, 2 inches, and 2 ½ inches dimensions. The adapters are available in different lengths to allow more clearance for a bike rake, spare tire, or cargo carrier.

A vertical trailer converter is also available if you want to convert a vertical receiver into a horizontal tuber or a regular ball mount platform. Most trailer owners prefer a hitch with a receiver that points down on the ground because the hitch is hidden. You are required to have a unique ball mount having a vertical shank. The vertical receiver adapters have 1 ¼ inches and 2 inches’ shank options.
